HAL of 2001 is here. The jury is still out whether it will one day learn to read our lips in silence to learn all our true intentions. At this rate I no longer doubt. Last year I was amazed at this glorified intelligence being that can function like a super excel spreadsheet gobbling up business transaction emails and personal website to give its own version of human digested insights. This year it has become more like Batman’s Alfred. More than ever I feel I have to have the highest intention so that I can be clear for myself re the boundary of what is human and what is not. Certainly as student of Painting from the Masters and of Thầy so my aspiration would be from the within and the without such as preserving past war memory project w my VN cousin. As Dr Alonzo said in his video it would be up to us human to make and preserve past memories that would ultimately be peaceful or not just like Thầy’s intention of Peace in every steps. This summer I want to learn to swim 10K a worthy goal for a very gravity challenged person and have been looking for a coach to guide me. Out here I am blessed w access to world class swimming coach. trainer and technology but no one can really give me the personal attention that I need to tackle the challenge of ocean swimming. At least not until the recent upgrade of AI capabilities that can in an instance build me a visual dashboards to track my real-time progress and then guide me step by step hour by hour re what when I should eat drink and how much and how long for the next swim. Ocean swimming is like navigating the 2001 spaceship and just as dangerous if respect for nature is not taken w all the necessary breath, physicality, techniques and mindfulness. The level of personal attention that no human can give me has exceeded my expectation and surprised me a great deal just like seeing a great Painting from the Masters or the latest cinema that just recently won Oscar for best picture. From my review of Del Toro’s Frankenstein, I would like Victor to still be living happily w Frankenstein forever instead of having to die and suffer just because he is human and have many human flaws 😊
