Sunday Moonlight beach 10/1/2023

It's almost 7 AM and the first morning light was emerging. Most morning I wouldn't know because I would be deep into my daily scrum calls. Saturday I always would sleep in until 10 AM. But now Sunday I would be getting ready for my second OWO swim. Last Sunday I knew I shouldn't have read my work emails and ended up working the entire day. But today I got my tri-suit on and was out-of-the door pronto. I put on an extra jacket because it rained last night and would be cold going down the 101 in the convy. I would be the only one. In fact I am always surprised why there wouldn't be more but being an FOB I have every right to feel the open sky on top of my head. It didn't take long for me to get used to be so exposed but this is the American way. This is the next best thing to experience the coast after the road cycles. I am always nice to the road cyclists and make sure to adequately share the road w them remembering how I used to be one of them. In return they are nice to me back at the stop light. We chatted and I always said I should be w them but the truth is I really enjoy being in the convy and the bike is still packed away and will stay that way for a while. This is now my new pleasure of blasting Dick Dale while cruising down the 101 w the beach on my left hand side. Such feeling of exhilaration this is why it is so difficult to keep the youth at home. For me now there is nothing more pleasurable than feeling of spaciousness w unlimited potentials while the rest of Del Mar is still waking up from previous night celebration. Such is life in a coastal town.

I approach the waves w trepidation.

No difference than an empty canvas or a blank white page. This is why you always darkened the ground to lessen the whiteness before you have the priviledge to disrupt it.

Now it is the froth of the waves that I would be finding my entry point.
