Today I finally got to walk on my home path. A year and a half. How did Frank know? Sometimes it takes everything to work seamlessly together from the position of the forehead to the eyes to the neck, shoulder, down to the hip and feet in order to be streamlined so the body can move efficiently through the water without drag. It starts with the deep breath through the nostrils down into the lung diaphragm and feel it through the back of the spine all the way down to the bare sole of the feet gripping. I love these water shoes that make me feel like I am walking barefoot, feeling every part of my feet touching and feeling the earth for each step I take. I really take in Thầy's teaching of deep breathing through the nostrils to feel the refuge in the breath. Suddenly everything fills with clarity and everything around me becomes a painting event. I take in the direct experience through my eyes to breathe deeply with each step as I walk intentionally forward w my every being.

There is only one painting that Cézanne painted and I strive to feel the deep internals of Gorky. Will I be able to gain the craft I need w Frank's standards . We will see. I feel the cadence cutting thru the water.
