Isabelle's sweet 16 birthday. Today the day will start to be longer. The sky will be blue again just as I have come to expect it after almost 2 years of living here. The rain this week had been brutal as I had never seen before. It’s good for the land to keep the nasty Santa Ana wind away that had wrecked the coastal paradise up North all summer with nasty destructive fires. I haven’t slept a wink. Don’t really know why. Is it because of the swim early that I had managed to come back valiantly? Or was it because Emma lost badly again? Or that I finally got permission to paint at Deer Park? Or that America had switched sides? Thầy was a bit reluctant. I remember back to the night in Dumbo when I broke through the surface and found the necessary hidden colors behind the surface. All good. Just excited to go forward with meaning, purpose, and joy. Tested out a new WC tray. Felt good. Monday was a glorious sunny day in the Beamer. Went for a dip 2nd time this year to test out Forms Goggles 2.0 OW directional feature. Didn't work again when coming back to the shore as the directional meter just went haywire probably because it was not linked to Apple Watch. Will have to try again next time. As I was swimming back to the shore I saw this knob head bobbing up and down in the water about 20 yards ahead. I thought that it was some snorkeling dude. Coming closer a head popped up and surprised me. It was my friend the sea lion whom I had seen last year. First sighting this year. Hello Buddy. Happy New Year. Made me so happy. Did walking meditation in absolute silence and emptiness. Nothing except the breath of the ocean. Perfect closing to begin anew again to start searching for a new pictorial reality.
